If you've been a fan of “Lost”, this one's definitely for you. There's an extraordinary amount of detail in the game that will immerse you directly in the action.
Each player takes one of the characters from the series, all of whom have a special power or aptitude. Some also have a special weakness.The board is divided into 16 of the 75 supplied hexagons, each representing an area of the island, and you set them up in a 4x4 grid (different each time you play), a configuration which should take 2 players about an hour to complete.
There are also three types of Fate cards:
The Encounter cards represent challenges that the players meet on the island, for example, adversaries such as the Others, the polar bear and the "Monster." These cards also include challenges that require co-operation between players, such as providing food and building a sign in the sand.
The Event cards represent plot points. Players accumulate these cards and then use them when they feel there's an advantage. These cards cover things like the ability to steal equipment, introduce new characters, and change a roll of the dice.
The Equipment cards are self-explanatory: the represent various types of equipment the characters take with them
